




DR. NOLAN LEE
With an unwavering passion for the well-being of infants, children and adolescents, Dr. Nolan Lee brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to his practice. Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, Dr. Lee is deeply committed to his community. He completed his medical degree and pediatric residency training at the University of British Columbia, during which he completed additional elective training in various locales, from Pediatric Emergency Medicine at SickKids (Toronto), to Endocrinology at the University of Sydney (Australia).
As an active clinical and research fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry with the UBC Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Lee possesses a unique perspective, bridging the worlds of pediatric medicine and mental health. His sub-specialty knowledge and skills empower him to provide comprehensive and holistic care, simultaneously addressing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of his patients and families.
He also serves as a locum pediatrician at Richmond Hospital, where he manages a wide range of pediatric cases with dedication and care. Furthermore, he actively contributes to the medical community as a clinical instructor for UBC Medical School, sharing his expertise and guiding physicians in training.
In his free time, he enjoys biking around town, climbing, travelling far and wide, and spending time with loved ones.

DR. SARAH FREEDMAN
Dr. Sarah Freedman attended the University of Manitoba for her medical degree and then completed her paediatric training at UBC. She also has a Combined Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science and Political Science from McMaster University and a Masters of Environmental Studies from York University with a focus on Environmental Determinants of Health.
Dr. Freedman loves working in a shared care model with family physicians, nurse practitioners and midwives in a consultant role. She enjoys being involved of the care of children from birth until adolescence. She is a Clinical Instructor with the Department of Paediatrics at UBC and has also taught within the Family Medicine Residency Program at the UBC Family Medicine Clinic. She has locum privileges at BC Women's and Children's Hospital and Lions Gate Hospital in the nursery and on the post partum units and also admits to the Paediatric ward at Lions Gate Hospital.
Dr. Freedman grew up in a small town and recognizes the importance of providing local care for small communities. In addition to her practice in Vancouver, she also maintains outreach clinics in Sechelt and Powell River.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, coaching soccer and volunteering for a nonprofit organization.

DR. SHARON YONG
Dr. Sharon Yong is a Royal College certified general pediatrician who accepts referrals from all over British Columbia. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, she completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Alberta and specialty training in Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia.
As a parent, she adores children of all ages. Child health and wellness is her first priority and she is dedicated to delivering supportive, respectful and comprehensive care. She aims to advocate and empower her patients and families.
She provides consultation for all aspects of infant, child and adolescent health and development, but has special interest in newborn care and childhood neurologic illness. She is a general pediatrician at the BC Women's and Children's Hospital in the nursery and on the post partum units. She is also a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Department of Pediatrics. She is actively involved with the Pediatric Residency Training program and enjoys teaching trainees both in the hospital and in the office. She has experience working alongside the Pediatric Neurologists of BC Children's hospital, and was previously a Clinical Associate.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, artistic endeavors and spending time with her husband and 2 young sons.

DR. CRISTINA BIGG
Dr. Bigg is committed to improving the health and wellness of children in Vancouver. She enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and their families and helping them navigate the health care system. She considers it a privilege to support her patients and their families.
Dr Bigg grew up in Richmond and completed both her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and her Medical degree at the University of British Columbia. She remained in Vancouver for her Pediatric Residency at the BC Children’s Hospital. Dr Bigg loves working in the clinic seeing children from birth to adolescence. She also spends time at BC Children’s Hospital working on the Clinical Teaching Unit and at BC Women’s Health Centre in the nursery and in the post partum wards. She is a clinical instructor with the University of British Columbia and is involved in teaching pediatric and family practice residents.
When not at work Dr Bigg is probably at the park chasing after one of her three young children.

DR. RILEY CHEN-MACK
Dr. Riley Chen-Mack recognizes the significant impact that the family can have on a child’s health.
He strives to provide thoughtful and comprehensive care for children, while supporting parents and caregivers as they navigate their child’s ongoing needs.
He is a Royal College certified general pediatrician who was born and raised in Victoria. He completed his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University (Kingston), his medical degree at the UBC Island Medical Program (Victoria), and his pediatric residency training at UBC (Vancouver). He acted as chief resident during his pediatric residency and continues to have an interest in teaching medical trainees.
Outside of work, you can find Dr. Chen-Mack eating sushi or biking the Seaside bike route with his wife.
